1. What information will Creatives Scale collect about you?

Users of Red Canyon Media and Creatives Scale may be Businesses or Agencies (basically anyone using our platform to request the services of a Writer) or Writers (any company, individual, or group of users that use our platform to offer z services). Our website is intended for users age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger than age 18.

In order to offer our users the best experience possible, we request the following information from them:

Personal Information

We value your privacy, so we make an effort to collect as little information as necessary to ensure our site and services run smoothly. Certain features of our site can’t function without this information. This information is collected only when you register with our site or choose to participate in various activities related to our site, such as message boards.

Information for User Profiles

When registering an account on Creatives Scale, users will be asked for information to help complete their profile, such as personal information, photographs, and work portfolios.  User portfolios are visible to all of our users. Users may also use their accounts to participate and post content in forums, blogs, and to communicate with each other. All posts are publicly displayed.

Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Site, our servers automatically collect the following information:

6. How does Creatives Scale keep your information safe?

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

7. Does Creatives Scale solicit information from children?

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 18. If you become aware of any data that we have collected from children under age 18, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

8. Does Creatives Scale respond to do-not-track features?

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

9. Can we change your information and terminate your account?

Account Information

You may at any time review or change the information in your account, or terminate your account by contacting us using the contact information provided below. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms and Conditions and/or comply with legal requirements.

Emails and Communications

If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from us, you may opt-out when noting your preferences when you register your account with the Site. 

10. Do California residents have additional privacy rights?

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain information from us. Once a year, these users may receive updates about the categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes, along with the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information during the previous calendar year. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Site or our mobile application, you have the right to request the removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Site or our mobile application. To request the removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Site or our mobile application, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.
